Daily Schedule:

7:00: gates open, a good time to arrive, and start setting up your pit area, make final preparations to your bike and gear, etc. Keep in mind, the more prepared you are prior to the morning of an event, the more relaxed you will be, and the more you will enjoy your day.

7:15: Registration opens. Come on down, and take care of the paperwork. We will also give you the all important tech sticker.

7:15: Tech inspection opens, bring your tech sticker from registration, along with your bike and helmet…on your head.

8:30: Mandatory riders meeting. School riders will remain at the end of the riders meeting for additional information.

9:00: Track opens: Level 3 session begins

9:20: Level 2 session begins

9:40: Level 1 Novice and school session begins. During the morning, school riders will go to the classroom as quickly as possible at the completion of each session….we will have water, and Gatorade there for you.
All sessions will begin and end as close to the schedule as possible, allowing for delays caused by downed riders, mechanical difficulties and other events that are out of our control.

12:00 - 1:00: At most events we will continue sessions through lunch. You can schedule your own lunch.

5:00: Final checkered flag…you win!

Remember we are here to help you have a great experience at the track. If you have any questions contact us at: info@trackxperience.com

Pre-registration Payments: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, checks, money orders, and cash. All returned checks will be charged $25 fee.

Walk Up Payments: All walk up riders pay the full ticket price, subject to availability.

Cancellations: For cancellations 30 days or more prior to an event, we will issue a full refund. Cancellations between 29 days and 15 days will receive a full credit towards a future event. Cancellations less than 15 days prior to an event will not receive refund or credit.
You MAY sell your spot to another rider provided that rider is going to ride in same level you originally signed up for. Transfers to another rider for a different level will depend upon availability and must be approved by TrackXperience management.

Rain Policy: Most track venues run rain or shine. If you don't want to risk riding in the rain, don't register for the event. If you no-show for an event on a rain day, you will not be issued a refund or credit.

Crash Policy: Sorry to say, if you crash your motorcycle, you are done for the day. We have found that all too often, a rider who crashes earlier in the day will not have his head in the game, and risks of crashing again are too great. In addition, the motorcycle itself will often be unable to pass tech inspection after a crash, not to mention damage to helmet, gloves, leathers, and boots.
All riders who have a crash where their helmet impacts the ground OR where they are observed by a cornerworker to lay on the ground and not immediately get back up must be evaluated by the on-site paramedic staff. There is no appeal to this policy.

Bike Preparation
1) All bikes MUST pass technical inspection prior to admittance to the track. If your bike DOES NOT pass tech inspection, you will NOT receive a refund.
2) Tires should be in Excellent (like new) condition. Any tires with shredding, cracking or flat spots with no remaining stiping will not pass tech inspection.
3) Brake levers must function properly, and may not have excess pull/play.
4) ALL lights must be taped over. We also suggest pulling fuses so the tape will not gum up. Side mirrors must be taped over or removed (we suggest removal).
5) All machines must have an operational kill switch/button and self-closing throttle in good working condition.
6) Wheel balance weights must be well-secured (crimped or taped over).
7) License plates must have bolts taped or be removed.
8) WE STRONGLY SUGGEST SAFETY WIRING OIL DRAIN PLUG. In fact we really think for those of you who frequent track days safety wiring MANY things is advisable, and many motorcycle shops will "track prep" a bike for you. It's NOT required, but it's a prudent thing to do.
9) Level 2 & Level 3 riders must drain glycol coolant and run water, with any of the major aftermarket non-glycol coolants such as Water Wetter or equivalent.

Rider Equipment
1) BSI, DOT, or SNELL full-face helmet with face shield. Swing-up chin-bar helmets are ONLY allowed in the Level 1 school, and any of these helmets that don't lock firmly (i.e. ROOF and others) will not be allowed period. You are risking your own head by riding with a damaged helmet, but any damage more than scuffs or scrapes will NOT pass tech.
2) Leather, Lorica, or similar material motorcycle riding boots that fully cover the top of the ankle and MUST overlap your suit's pant leg. No external laces allowed.
3) Undamaged gauntlet style gloves with full wrist coverage (must overlap sleeve of suit). And for your own protection, don't come to a track day wearing some cheapo paper-thin gloves.
4) One or two piece protective suit. Two piece suits must zip together fully (90%) in Level 2 and level 3....at least a standard "back zipper" is required for Level 1 riders. Ballistic nylon suits such as Joe Rocket, AeroStitch etc. are acceptable (Level 1 only) provided they have reinforced and padded shoulders, elbows, hips, and knee areas.
5) Level 2 and level 3 riders MUST WEAR A BACK PROTECTOR. Back pads sewn into suits are not enough.
6) You must be 18 years old.
7) NO sparking knee sliders allowed. At ANY venue. They are distracting to other riders, and very squidly, unless your name is Troy Bayliss….in which case, we mean no disrespect. But they are still not allowed.

IMPORTANT NOTE: YOU MUST RIDE A MOTORCYCLE APPROPRIATE FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE TRACK RIDING. SEVERELY UNDERPOWERED MOTORCYCLES, OR THOSE NOT SUITED TO HIGH SPEEDS OR REASONABLE LEAN ANGLES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE TRACK.

Track Rules:
1) Riders may only enter the course under the approval of the grid entry marshal.
2) Riders exiting the track into the pit area or paddocks may only re-enter the track under the approval of the grid entry marshal. Riders who disregard the grid entry marshal are subject to dismissal from the event, as since the potential for serious injury is very likely with unsafe or untimely track entry.
3) Riders exiting the course into a runoff area may only re-enter the track with the approval of a corner worker or track marshal.
4) We expect safe and courteous riding. We mean it, period. We are NOT a race practice and NOT a place for people to show off. If you ride with disregard for the safety of our other customers your day will be ended by our staff shortly thereafter.
5) If you crash and are unhurt, leave your bike immediately and move away from the crash zone, and await our crash truck.
6) If you run out of gas, try to pull your bike well off to the inside of the track, and out of any potential crash zones. We will send the crash truck at the end of the session.
7) Passing rules vary from group to group, but all passing must be courteous, and safe for all involved parties.
8) No chatterboxes allowed……sorry, they are much too distracting.
9) All riders wishing to use their own video equipment must receive prior approval and inspection of their equipment and mounting system by TrackXperience staff prior to use. No exceptions.

For 2010, TrackXperience will be running a 3 group format with 20 minute sessions without stopping for lunch at most of our events:

Level 1- First time at the racetrack? Looking for a more controlled environment, a more relaxed session? The pace in Level 1 is considerably slower than in Level 2 or Level 3, and inside passing is not allowed. The Level 1 group is closely monitored by the TrackXperience staff to ensure your safety. All Level 1 riders should consider taking part in our complimentary rider orientation program, which has helped scores of riders over the past 6 years achieve their riding goals and learn valuable skills. Our comprehensive educational approach along with friendly one-on-one coaching is the key.

Level 2- Done your share of track days? Ready to up the pace? Level 2 is for strong intermediate and advanced riders who are comfortable with closer passing and greater speeds. Courteous passing is allowed inside and out with a 6 foot buffer. Riders must be smooth, and predictable, and previous TrackXperience is required.

Level 3- Ladies and gentlemen, fasten your safety belts……Level 3 is for very skilled trackday riders and racers who are very comfortable with close inside and outside passing, and a much faster pace. First time track riders are not allowed, regardless of street experience.

TrackXperience staff reserves the right to change your group designation based upon your ability to ride within that group. If you sign up for Level 1 and lap everyone during the first session, you will be bumped up to the next level. If you sign up for Level 3, and park in every turn, or are unable to keep a reasonable pace for that group, we will bump you down.

Discounts

First Time Riders Discount

This discount was designed for you riders out there that have never been to the track. This is not for people that have never been on a sport type motorcycle. You should have approximately 1 year experience on your sport bike before you attempt to ride on the track. However 1 year experience on the street is not a requirement as everyone’s riding ability varies. We expect you to make the call and decide if you are ready to ride faster than you ever have before. For $80 you will be enrolled at any single Willow Springs event of your choice and a mandatory “New Riders School”. This discount can only be used one time by each new rider. You will be required to ride in Level 1 and take the new riders school.

Introduce a Friend Discount

Streets of Willow (5/17) will be the last event for this program. Credits will still be honored through the rest of the season.

Bring 5 Ride Free!

If you Sign up any 5 riders on the same order before any event you ride for free. Just buy 5 spots for the same date and email sales@trackxperience.com with the name of the 6th rider. This does not apply to any other discounts and cannot be used the day of the event.
Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with each other. TrackXperience reserves the right to make changes to discounts at any time.

Schools

New Riders School

The cost is absolutely FREE! (It's included with the cost of the track day.) The average class size is usually between 5-15 riders. (We try to keep the rider to instructor ratio at no more than 3-1.) We try
to provide a safe, friendly environment where you can hone your riding skills and become a better, safer rider even on the street.

In the first classroom session all Level One riders attend. We cover basic track safety, the layout of the track and a few things about riding on the track in general. Then we assign each school rider to an
instructor for the first track session.

The first track session is the Lead/Follow where each rider gets to follow directly behind an instructor to learn the layout of the track and to learn the proper "Line". During these sighting laps we will start
bringing you up to speed.

The second classroom/track session is the "Single Gear - No Brakes" drill. This is the best way to really learn the track and how fast you can go just by using the throttle to adjust and control your speed. It's
amazing just how much our riders learn in that one session! We also cover basic reference points and what to look for when you're out on the track.

As the day progresses and you get faster and faster, we'll cover shifting and braking and body positioning. All day you'll be able to get one on one coaching from our instructors and loads of track time!

The classroom sessions are only about 20 minutes long and allow the riders to ask questions and talk with their track coaches between the on track sessions. By the end of the day our school riders have usually shown significant improvement in their riding skill and comfort on the bike and have really stepped up their track speeds! (Some of our school riders are even bumped up to Level 2 before the end of the day!)

If you've never ridden on a race track (or never ridden on this race track) and no matter what skill level you are, you're bound to learn something new at our TrackXperience New Riders School.

TrackXperience ARC

TrackXperience is now introducing “TrackXperience ARC”. Our “Advanced Riding Clinic” includes a full day class with WSMC Pro Racer, WSMC New Racer School instructor, and Individual Riding Coach, Ryan Gagliano. We will also have guest riders throughout the year ranging from Club level Pro Racers to AMA Pro Racers.

Participants will receive an instructional workbook, classroom sessions and on-track coaching. In this clinic, you'll learn techniques to elevate your riding to the next level including:
• Proper racing lines
• Body position
• Reference points
• and much more!
For less than the cost of a front tire, you'll learn how to ride faster and safer!  There are only 10 spots available at each event, so sign up early!! TrackXperience ARC is not for new riders; it is designed for level 2 or 3 riders and current racers looking for that extra edge to lower your lap times.

For the 2010 season the following dates are available:

April 24/25 (Sat/Sun) SMMR
July 10/11 (Sat/Sun) Streets of Willow
